More trump projection! Everything he accuses others of gives him cover for his own misdeeds.

Why does the "cover" consistently seem to work in his favor? That's even more inexcusable.

Because he normalizes the lies ("norma-lies"), and everything else seems tame by comparison.

Please continue chronicling the fascism and its cruelty. It may be the only hope.

Overseas, in an area of far less daily cruelty. People disdained my move, citing "culture shock". I read MM [ and other headlines ] and cannot see how I would be able to return to the daily torrent of intensifying cruelty. That's their aim: crush everything around them.

I would leave if I could. You did the right thing.

"Reverse" a presidential pardon? Seriously not! Won't happen...but, as noted, life could get very messy for former Biden people, as any named targets need to lawyer up, and be prepared for a torrent of tRump SM posts declaring them "guilty" of a host of "crimes".

Just more spiteful and performative cruelty laid on by the Sadist-In-Chief.

David, you are quite right to headline this new investigation. It is unprecedented, sets a outrageously abominable precedent, and deeply, deeply undermines our democracy. I am horrified that they even attempt it assuming they have the wit to see the catastrophic consequences. "Aprés moi, le deluge."

Republicans, in their arrogance and incompetence, do amazing damage whenever they're in power and there are NO CONSEQUENCES. They end up unpunished or rewarded. With Trump we see someone who's always pushed boundaries, broken the law and generally acted like an asshole. WHAT DID WE EXPECT? I fault the people who voted for him and especially congressional Republicans more than Trump. He's always been a sorry piece of garbage, a boor and a buffoon. But think of how little congressional pushback it would take to rein him in with the majorities they have. HE COULD BE IMPEACHED. And they support him.

There is a lesson here somewhere.

A. 2 years ago Columbia purportedly "tolerates" antisemitism. (For those who followed the protests, "tolerates" is the least possibly accurate word) As far as I can tell, Columbia did discipline those involved in the riot who either breached buildings or could be shown to have done antisemitic things.

B. Trump cuts funding to Columbia

C. Columbia grovels to trump and agrees to all sorts of stupid stuff

D. Trump cuts more funding to Columbia

E. Trump claims that "toleration" requires Deaccreditation so Columbia students can't get federal loans. (query whether there will BE any federal college loans, in any event, if the BBB has its way.)

Of the many lessons here, I'd say "tolerating harassment of Jewish students on campus" is a pretty clear shibboleth.

If this were a normal

government, DOJ,

congress, NO ONE

would touch an

investigation into Biden

and his WH staff. When,

please Lord, we retake

our country, let the

investigations roll.

BTW, who's putting

Trump's signature on

those weekend EOs

when he's on the golf

course in Florida? I think

there have been 3.

"$2.4 trillion: how much it would add to the federal budget deficit over the next 10 years"

Why do we talk about the Bloated Bogus Bull in terms of cost over a TEN year span, but anything the Democrats want is PER YEAR. The Bloated Bogus Bull $240 BILLION A YEAR.
